Step 1: You will need
Some Cotton buds
Some Wipes
Some Tissues
A Pressed powder compact
A Eyeliner pencil
A Light reflecting concealer pen
A Tinted lip gloss

Step 2: Basic Tidy Up
Use a clean cotton bud to remove any flakes of eye make-up and smudged eyeliner.

Step 3: Concealer
Touch up obvious under-eye circles and blemishes with the light reflecting concealer pen. Apply it under the eyes in a rolling movement – this will cover bags and lift the under eye area. It can also help to flatten lines and reduce creases on your face. Only apply it where you need it in order to maintain a natural look.

Step 4: Foundation
Use a compact to touch up shiny areas and where you notice fading or unevenness.

Step 5: Eyes
You can use a black eyeliner to get a quick and dramatic evening look. Start off by using it almost like an eye shadow. Draw a thick line on your upper eyelid and smudge it with a cotton bud. Now draw a thinner line under the lashes of your bottom eyelid, and then inside the lashes, on the rim. Then draw a thinner line on the upper eyelid. Dab some powder from the compact over the top of this to set it – it will absorb any moisture that builds up during the evening and prevent smudging – so helping the look to last longer. Add extra mascara to finish it off.

Step 6: The Multiple
A multiple is a very useful thing to have in your make-up bag, so called because of its many uses – use your finger to dab a little bit along the line of your cheekbone. It can also be used on eyes and lips if needs be.

Step 7: Lips
Make-up artists recommend accentuating your eyes or lips but not both. As the eyes are so dramatic in this look the lips should be kept light and casual, by rubbing a little tinted lip gloss into your lips.
